1) Contractual concessions - $59,085

2) Re-deployment of resources - $98,916

3) Budget reductions - $1,300,906

  • Clerical staff, Monitors, All late buses, Treasurer and Deputy Treasurer stipends, Interscholastic sports, Intramurals, Athletic Trainer, Extracurricular activities, Teachers in the elementary, M.S and H.S levels

4) Staff Mandated Contingency Budget Cuts - $325,000

  • Public Relations, Capital transfers, equipment

5) (Added to budget) Heating Oil, natural gas and electricity added to budget - $238,727

NET TOTAL BUDGET REDUCTION - $1,545,180

  

Student Activities Summary

  • *All sport activities cancelled with the exception of all Varsity Fall Sports, Swimming, Tennis and Spring Volleyball
  • All clubs and other activities cancelled with the exception of High School Foreign Language Honor Society, Future Business Leaders, National Art Honor Society, National Business Honor Society, National Thespian Honor Society, National Tri-Music Honor Society, Varsity Key Club, Marching Band, Senior Class Advisor, Graduation Coordinator, Supervisors for Graduation, 2 editions of the HS Newspaper.  The Middle School not cut are National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society and the National Foreign Language Honor Society.
  • Miscellaneous items cut are the Intramurals from K to 12, Rule books, Athletic trainer and sport publicity.

  

*Funding boys varsity swimming, tennis and volleyball in the winter and spring was required to stay compliant with Title IX, since the same sports for the girls were funded in the Fall.
