We have provided a list of news organizations, radio stations and newspapers, along with links to articles, press releases and their web sites.

  

  • Press Release by Diane McCoy, Wantagh resident.  This release was sent to the Wantagh Citizen, Newsday and other local and regional publications.
  • News 12 - June 23rd - Michael Coleman (Sports Director/Anchor), Andrew Rappaport (Sports Producer) and Erin Colton (Morning Sports Anchor) helped Wantagh get in the news when they interviewed Don Desroches on the impact of the School Budget cuts and the promotion of the website and the S.O.S. efforts.
  • KJOY - Kim and Jim in the morning - July 1st @ 7am, they mentioned the walk-a-thon and web site. At 8:30am, Kim went into more details asking the listeners to please help as much as possible, the students of Wantagh need your help.  Every morning they will provide a message about us from 5 to 9am every half hour until the walk-a-thon.  
  • WFAN - Rick Wolff, host of a program called "The Sports Edge"on Sunday mornings from 8-9 AM on 660 AM, did a great job of mentioning our situation and talked about the Walk-A-Thon and directed people to our website.  The program deals with youth sports and the problems facing young athletes and their parents.
  • WGBB - 1240AM - Halftime Howie - will be promoting our efforts at the East Bay Diner from 8 to 9m on the 15th of July and at Lifestyles from 8 to 9pm on the 22nd of July.
  • News55 - Channel 7 News, Channel 4 News, L&M Publications - Working with us to help promote events.
